The Alumni Association Board is comprised of an Executive Committee and several working committees. The Executive Committee includes the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Working Committees include the Student Committee, the Event Committee, the Volunteer Committee, and the Communications and Marketing Committee.
Each committee is guided by the Association 5 year plan that addresses 9 goals; awareness, value, engagement, family, support structure, growth, community, professional development, and advancement. Every task undertaken by committees should address these goals. A specific purpose for each committee are delineated below.
Student Committee Purpose: The purpose of the Student Committee is to familiarize students with the Alumni Association so that they will become active members before and after graduation.
Event Committee Purpose: The purpose of the Event Committee is to organize and execute events on the Alumni Association schedule.
Volunteer Committee Purpose: The purpose of the Volunteer Committee is to organize volunteer opportunities for alumni and to raise community awareness of the Association and Hodges University.
Communications/Marketing Committee Purpose: The purpose of the Communications/Marketing Committee is to market the Association through existing and innovative channels, to brand the Association and to produce campaigns and material to market the Association and its endeavors.
